It would be nice to copy the whole year of planbook and then put into a new year of planbook . Not going each day just copy the whole year
Copy your year planbook and create into a new year. Copy the whole year not week by week.72 votes
We have this feature already. You can see how to do it here:
Lessons can be bumped forward. I wish I could also move lessons back and have all subsequent lessons move back with them.14 votes
You can do this currently. See the video here:
Because I copy some of last year's plans into my current planbook, I now have to "edit, copy, save, edit, paste, save" on each plan. If I could just drag last year's plans into the Cubby, and then drag them back into this year's box, it would be SO MUCH EASIER! Please try to make this happen. Thanks!2 votes
The cubby is the same across planbooks. If you have both planbooks open at the same time you’ll need to refresh before you see the plans in the cubby.
Some classes & events are on weekends. These need planning space also.12 votes
See comment from helpful anonymous user on how do to this.
At times I need to print more than one week...or save more than one week196 votes
You can view and print more then one week from the monthly view:
Although it’s called the month view, you can actually view any range.
When you print it will print what you are currently viewing.
The times for the class periods need to able to key them in as most classes do not fall on the half hour.9 votes
Do you mean for the syncing to Google feature? You can enter an time you’d like. Just select the closest half hour and then edit it to be the time you need.
Allow a shared planbooks to be edited by the people you share them with.2 votes
You can do that now if you add the person as a collaborator:
When you move plans to cubby, date of plans should automatically appear.5 votes
Do you mean the date that you copied the plan from? We don’t want to do that since The Cubby is a general storage area. The plans in there aren’t attached to a particular date.
I would like to add more rows of boxes as I have more than 6 subjects.9 votes
You can see how to do that here:
I would like to set a subject to repeat weekly on several days. For instance: Spanish Weekly Repeat - Checkbox T,W,Th3 votes
You can do that now with the Daily repeating option. When you select Daily all the days are checked, but you can remove any days you don’t want. Then you can set it to repeat for the entire year.
Ability to colour fill blocks (provide shading for blocks). This would enable one to show Math blocks, English blocks, P.E blocks etc
Ability to colour fill blocks (provide shading for blocks).2 votes
You can do that already. See; http://help.planbookedu.com/knowledgebase/articles/241925-setting-the-background-color-of-a-box
When selecting standards I'd like to see a more simplified choice area by having drop down menus. For example, when I select high school science standards for the state of MI. Instead of just having one long list, give me a chance to pick which area of science I want (ex. biology, chemistry, etc.) that way I'm not scrolling all the way through.5 votes
This may be how these particular science standards are loaded in our database. We will look into organizing them better.
I'd added a row heading for each class to include its course title on the left side of each row, but it seems that I have to type in these course titles on a weekly basis. It would be great if we could set a permanent row on the left to title each course/period and have that repeat automatically each week.10 votes
You can set the headings to repeat. When you enter the plan there is an option above to Repeat the entry. You can select “Weekly” from the options to repeat it each week.
Fix the formatting when you print a single day pdf. Right now when I print a single day my fonts and sizes change (some get bigger, others get smaller, some stay Comic Sans & others switch to a new font)10 votes
Please contact email@example.com for help with this issue.
it would be great if we could bump plans for a single period and have that bump the plans forward from that point on.
If I needed to bump plans for just a single period, but I have plans in future weeks, it would be great if there were a bump feature that move all plans from just that period forward a day or two.41 votes
You can see how to do that here:
add accessibility to the days!1 vote
This may be how your planbook is setup. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help.
I miss the icon which used to be to the right of the next week arrow that took you to the current week.3 votes
The button is still there. If the “this week” isn’t part of your date range it won’t appear.
For example if you planbook starts Nov 1st, but today is Oct 17th the button won’t appear until after Nov 1st.
I teach 3 English classes for middle school along with technology classes for the entire K-8 school. I would like to be able to select just my English course periods to view for the week- basically hiding the other periods in the day.3 votes
You can do that from the month view:
You can set the start and end dates for your planbook to be any one year span. See more on that here:
Just add basic word processing. I don't need cutesy "bumping." I'm an adult. Let me simply cut and paste.
Add word processing cut and paste functionality without the cutesy "bumping." We're all adults here. Let's just cut and paste or drag and drop. I need to cut and paste only a sentence from a plan over and over sometimes, and it's infuriating that I have to re-type it because I'm not "bumping" a lesson. What's the point of infantalizing this process and decreasing the usability?2 votes
You should be able to cut and paste now. Is there a problem when you try to?
