In our clusters, we share work, so when one teacher has mapped out the semester for a course, it would be nice to be able to copy it and then make it your own and make adjustments.11 votes
You can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make a copy of the planbook to another account. We’ll need the person who created the planbook to email as well to verify that it is okay with them.
When you move plans to cubby, date of plans should automatically appear.4 votes
Do you mean the date that you copied the plan from? We don’t want to do that since The Cubby is a general storage area. The plans in there aren’t attached to a particular date.
My school is on a six day rotation. I would like to see the date and ABCDEF option at top of page20 votes
You can use the first period of your plans for your day label. See here for more information:
I have highlighted text in the lesson plan but when printing from the browser, the highlights don't show.2 votes
To fix that you need to turn on a setting in your browser before you print. The wording changes depending on your browser. It is usually a checkbox labeled “print background colors and images” in the print options.
Just like we can bump plans, can we bring them all back a day?6 votes
You can do that now. It will appear as an option when you clear a day. See the Reverse Bumping section here:
I would like to be able to click on a link in a box and have a new window/tab open with that link. A pop up box for sharing links great too!2 votes
Links should open in a new window/tab already. You may have something running in your browser that is preventing that if it isn’t working.
Love this website! Could it be set up so that a class repeats on days of the week instead of every five days, for instance?
Even though the event of the day repeats every 5 days, some weeks skip a day and the repetition is thrown off. I have Spanish every Tues. and Thurs. If I try to repeat the Tues class every 5 days, the first Monday we don't have school puts Spanish on Wed. because it's the 5th day since Tuesday. Clear as mud? Sorry. I know you'll figure it out. :-o)12 votes
It sounds like you have your rotation set to every 5 days. Instead set it to Weekly (which is the default). This will leave the plan on the same day of the week regardless of off days.
Click on “Planbooks” in your blue navigation bar, and then “Edit” by the planbook you are working on. You will see a section marked “Rotation”.
Just add basic word processing. I don't need cutesy "bumping." I'm an adult. Let me simply cut and paste.
Add word processing cut and paste functionality without the cutesy "bumping." We're all adults here. Let's just cut and paste or drag and drop. I need to cut and paste only a sentence from a plan over and over sometimes, and it's infuriating that I have to re-type it because I'm not "bumping" a lesson. What's the point of infantalizing this process and decreasing the usability?2 votes
You should be able to cut and paste now. Is there a problem when you try to?
Can you enable users to select which days of the week they would like to copy information to? e.g. I want to select Mon, Weds and Fri.
I would like to be able to select Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays for one particular cell in my planbook, but change Thursdays to spelling tests. Can you create a button that allows users to choose which days they want to copy, and choose this week, or this week and forward?17 votes
You can do that now with the repeating options. Edit Monday and set it to repeat daily. Then select M,Tu,W,F from the day list. Then Edit Thursday and set it to repeat weekly.
Ability to "undo" a "copy" or a "move"7 votes
You can do that now. The Undo link will appear in the box that you copied or moved to.
Including visual arts standards in the standards available would be awesome!7 votes
We have those standards now. They are in the Organizations section when selecting standards.
Days without regularly occurring courses such as Conference Day do not provide a way to add a meeting on that day..6 votes
You can easily clear a day and type in anything you like. Here’s how:
When you use quick edit keep the location where you double click in the window. When you paste something in quick edit keep the window where

I would like to see the date on the top of each page that I print. When I print multiple dates I need to go back and match the dates.
I would like to see the date on top of each page that is printed. When multiple pages are printed you need to go back and match the pages to the plan book page. If a date was printed on top of each page it would be so very helpful!12 votes
This can be set up in the Advance Settings for your planbook. Here’s information on how to do that.

You can undo now. After making a change to a period an Undo option will appear in that box.
It would be nice to be able to have a reoccuring activity/lesson/block of time and say to have it repeat on a specific day
Right now when I set up a block of time, I can set it to repeat every 5 days, that works if there aren't any holidays or days off. I would like to be able to set up a block of time to repeat on a specific day. For example my class has a block of time set for Library every Tuesday. I would like to be able to tell planbook to set that block of time for every Tuesday.14 votes
Make sure your planbook is set to the Weekly rotation. This will repeat plans on the same day regardless of off days. The 5 Day rotation option will adjust for off days.
After I add standards to a lesson, it would be nice to be able to hover over the added standard to see the text therein.44 votes
That should work currently. Email us at email@example.com if you aren’t seein the standard when you hover.
You can lock a plan using the padlock icon when you edit. Look for it above the planning area. When you click the icon it will toggle between locked and unlocked.
When my partner and I work on our books, we collaborate. It would be really nice if while I am doing my plans, or visa versa, we could see what the other has planned too.5 votes
You can do that by opening the two planbooks in different browser windows or tabs.
