Drop Down Selections for Standards
When selecting standards I'd like to see a more simplified choice area by having drop down menus. For example, when I select high school science standards for the state of MI. Instead of just having one long list, give me a chance to pick which area of science I want (ex. biology, chemistry, etc.) that way I'm not scrolling all the way through.
5 votesThis may be how these particular science standards are loaded in our database. We will look into organizing them better.

Repeat row headings in weekly view
I'd added a row heading for each class to include its course title on the left side of each row, but it seems that I have to type in these course titles on a weekly basis. It would be great if we could set a permanent row on the left to title each course/period and have that repeat automatically each week.
10 votesYou can set the headings to repeat. When you enter the plan there is an option above to Repeat the entry. You can select “Weekly” from the options to repeat it each week.

paper clip feature
Students do not see the subject of the paper clip like the teacher can. If I post one or more uploaded files it gets confusing since they see only a series of paper clips. My students need to mouse over the paper clip to read the subject.

it would be great if we could bump plans for a single period and have that bump the plans forward from that point on.
If I needed to bump plans for just a single period, but I have plans in future weeks, it would be great if there were a bump feature that move all plans from just that period forward a day or two.

The button is still there. If the “this week” isn’t part of your date range it won’t appear.
For example if you planbook starts Nov 1st, but today is Oct 17th the button won’t appear until after Nov 1st.

Title Row- every other week repeat option.
Title Row- every other week repeat option. I'm on a A/B weekly rotation and the only option on the title row is a weekly repeat. My work around is to include Sunday, and do a 12 day rotation instead of A/B weekly rotation (the everyother week on the Sunday did not work for some reason-- I had text repeating on Thursdays, and then Wednesdays).

I work part-time in a school with A/B rotation and only work A days. i would like the playbook to reflect that.
Our school has alternating days, A/B. I only work A days. If the days of the week were ordered Mon, Wed, Fri, Tues, Thurs, that would allow me to fill in plans for a 2-week period in the same space as for one week.

Be able to select a few periods to view rather than the whole day or hiding select periods.
I teach 3 English classes for middle school along with technology classes for the entire K-8 school. I would like to be able to select just my English course periods to view for the week- basically hiding the other periods in the day.

Just add basic word processing. I don't need cutesy "bumping." I'm an adult. Let me simply cut and paste.
Add word processing cut and paste functionality without the cutesy "bumping." We're all adults here. Let's just cut and paste or drag and drop. I need to cut and paste only a sentence from a plan over and over sometimes, and it's infuriating that I have to re-type it because I'm not "bumping" a lesson. What's the point of infantalizing this process and decreasing the usability?
2 votesYou should be able to cut and paste now. Is there a problem when you try to?

Be able to add items to dates that aren't on regular schedule
Days without regularly occurring courses such as Conference Day do not provide a way to add a meeting on that day..

Love this website! Could it be set up so that a class repeats on days of the week instead of every five days, for instance?
Even though the event of the day repeats every 5 days, some weeks skip a day and the repetition is thrown off. I have Spanish every Tues. and Thurs. If I try to repeat the Tues class every 5 days, the first Monday we don't have school puts Spanish on Wed. because it's the 5th day since Tuesday. Clear as mud? Sorry. I know you'll figure it out. :-o)
12 votesIt sounds like you have your rotation set to every 5 days. Instead set it to Weekly (which is the default). This will leave the plan on the same day of the week regardless of off days.
Click on “Planbooks” in your blue navigation bar, and then “Edit” by the planbook you are working on. You will see a section marked “Rotation”.
