Be able to bump just a part of a lesson
Sometimes I do not finish something and need to bump it to the next day. If I could just highlight the part I need to move and have a bump option that would help immensely.

Being able to copy another teacher's calendar and then edit it as your own, but not change theirs.
In our clusters, we share work, so when one teacher has mapped out the semester for a course, it would be nice to be able to copy it and then make it your own and make adjustments.
11 votesYou can email support@planbookedu.com and we’ll make a copy of the planbook to another account. We’ll need the person who created the planbook to email as well to verify that it is okay with them.

Have an undo feature to undo last entry
Search button to search for things in plan.
10 votesYou can undo now. After making a change to a period an Undo option will appear in that box.

Add the dates to the printed lesson plans instead of just the day of the week.
I can't see a date anywhere on the printed lesson plans.
101 votesYou can do this now by changing the Day Title setting for your planbook:
http://help.planbookedu.com/knowledgebase/articles/643240-changing-the-day-titleThe date will appear when you print as well.

ABCDEF days
My school is on a six day rotation. I would like to see the date and ABCDEF option at top of page
20 votesYou can use the first period of your plans for your day label. See here for more information:

notes
Teacher Notes or "Private" Notes. I share my plans but would love to have a section that does not show up when embedded on my website. I love that I can share my book, but would like the flexibility to make certain things private (such as when fire drills might be).
4 votesWe have a notes area that isn’t included when you share your plans:
http://help.planbookedu.com/knowledgebase/articles/241926-notesYou can also hide individual plans when sharing:

View Button
All of the edit and setting buttons are distracting at times, especially if I am done writing my lesson plans and just want to view them. It would be great to be able to hide these or create an option for "view mode" where they are not visible.

topic/CCSS banner for long range planning
It would be nice to enter a topic/CCSS for a class to run for a length of time and have it appear as a banner in the class. EX: "Proportional Reasoning" would be at the top of all 1st period Math entries on the dates 9/02 - 9/21.

It’s still there. If the Sunday for “this week” isn’t part of your planbook it won’t appear. For example is your planbook start date is Tue, Sept 2nd the “this week” option won’t appear until the week of Sept 6th.

You can lock a plan using the padlock icon when you edit. Look for it above the planning area. When you click the icon it will toggle between locked and unlocked.

Track changes to entries
It would be nice to be able, as an administrator, to right click an entry when it is open for editing and see a history of changes.

Make entries un-editable once date of entry is passed
I need to be sure that historical data cannot be altered, can the workbook be set up so that as soon as a date has passed any entries for that date lose the edit facility?
It could still be copied and pasted into the future and become editable again.1 voteClosed due to lack of community support.

Is there any way to enter classroom location so it shows where the class meets in the plan book
It would be good to be able to enter classroom location so it shows where the class meets in the plan book.

You can do that by dragging the plans for the single period back a day:

I would like to track custom standards for individual students. I use planbook for small class with repeated practice of task (standards).
I am using planbook as my my lesson planner for pilot classes of 2-6 individual. The instruction is divided into several phases and each phase has several specific task. The task are practiced multiple times until performed correctly. I would like the ability to track the amount of days a task is practiced for each student. The students may practice different task than the other students on any given day. The only way I can work it know is to have multiple lesson plans for each student. That isn't ideal because they do share other class periods. Or, I have…

Can we have the date next to the day of the week?
It would be nice to have the date listed at the top next to each day so I don't have to keep going to my other calendar to put in special events.
3 votesYou can do that now. Go to “Planbooks” in your blue navigation bar, and then click “Edit” by the planbook you are working on.
Under Advanced Options, you will see a section to change the Day Title. There are several options to include the date.

In the standards drop down menu, have a check mark box by each so you can add multiple standards at one time. Like the CCSS Math prac.
Putting a check mark box by each standard so you can add multiple standards at the same time, rather than having to add them individually.
17 votesIf you use the “+” icon (rather then searching) to select standards you can select multiple at a time.
