A PlanbookEdu subscription is a one-off purchase for a fixed period, not a recurring charge. Nothing is billed automatically when it runs out, so renewing is a decision you make rather than one you have to cancel.
How you'll be reminded
About 30 days before your subscription expires, we email you with renewal instructions.
You'll also see a message in the upper right of the site when it's time to renew, so it's hard to miss even if the email is caught by a school filter.
Renewing
Follow the link in the reminder email, or click the renewal message in the site. It's the same checkout as the original purchase — card or PayPal.
See Plans and pricing for current prices.
If you let it lapse
Nothing dramatic happens. Your account drops to the free version and your plans stay exactly where they are — see What happens to my plans if I stop paying.
You can renew later and pick up where you left off. There's no penalty for a gap, and nothing is deleted in the meantime.
Renewing early
You can renew before the reminder arrives if it suits your school's budget year. Contact us if you need the timing to line up with a particular date.
Group subscriptions
If your school bought your subscription, renewal is handled by your administrator, not by you — see Renew your group subscription.
Changing the card
There's no card stored between purchases, so there's nothing to update in advance — you enter payment details at the point you renew. See Update your payment method.
