Your plans stay.
PlanbookEdu does not delete plans or remove accounts unless you specifically ask us to. If a subscription lapses, the account moves to the free version and everything you've written remains.
Reaching old planbooks
Every planbook you've made is still in your list. Click Planbooks in the navigation bar and click a name to open it.
This is why we suggest a new planbook each year rather than editing last year's — you keep each year intact and can look back at any of them. See Start a new school year.
If the list is long, archive old years. Archived planbooks stay readable and drop off the main list.
What you lose without Premium
Access to the Premium features, not to your plans:
- Copying a planbook
- More than one planbook at a time
- Exporting to Word or PDF
- Spell check, collaboration, recovering deleted plans

You can still read, write, print and share your plans on the free version.
Picking up again later
Subscribe whenever you like and everything reactivates against the same account. Nothing needs restoring, and a gap of a year or three makes no difference.
Leaving a school group
If you were part of a school or district account and no longer are, you keep your plans and carry on signing in with the same address — see What happens to a teacher who leaves your group. Change your email to a personal one while you still can: Change the email address on your account.
If you actually want your account deleted
We'll do it if you ask — contact support. It's permanent, so export anything you want to keep first.
