If the standards you teach to aren't in PlanbookEdu, tell us and we'll look at adding them.
What to send
Email support with:
- A link to the standards, published by your state, province or organization. This is the important one — a link to the official document is what lets us add a set accurately and quickly.
- The state or region, grade, and subject.
A request with a link moves considerably faster than one without.
How long it takes
We work through a long list of requests and can't promise a date. Sets vary enormously in size and in how cleanly the source is structured, so a short subject list may go in quickly while a full state framework takes much longer.
Don't wait for us
You don't need to teach untagged while a request is pending:
Search community standards — over 600 sets shared by other teachers. There's a fair chance yours is already there, particularly for common state frameworks.
Create custom standards — type up the ones you need. It's an afternoon at most for a single subject, and they work identically to built-in sets, including in reporting.
If you do write your own, consider ticking the box to share them with the community — that's where a good number of those 600 sets came from, and it spares the next teacher in your state the same work.
