Save plans to Dropbox, Google Drive, or a school drive

There's no direct "send to Dropbox" button. The way to get plans onto any external drive is to generate a PDF and save it there.

  1. Go to the print area for the plans you want.
  2. Choose one of the PDF formats.
  3. Save the file to your computer instead of printing it.
  4. Upload or copy it to Dropbox, Google Drive, or your school's network drive.

This works for whatever range you're printing — a day, a week, or an entire planbook.

See Print your plans for the format options, and Export to Word or PDF if you'd rather have an editable Word file.

If your school wants plans filed each week

A PDF in a shared folder is the usual arrangement, and it's fine. But two alternatives are less work:

  • Share your planbook — send a link instead of a file. It always shows current plans, so there's nothing to re-upload when something changes.
  • Turn in your planbook — if your school uses PlanbookEdu group accounts, submitting plans to an administrator is built in.

A PDF is a snapshot; it's out of date the moment you edit a plan. Worth knowing if your school is choosing a process rather than following one.

Backing up your plans

If the goal is a personal copy rather than sharing, export the entire planbook at the end of the year and keep the file. Your plans stay in PlanbookEdu regardless — see What happens to my plans if I stop paying.
