Notes are for the things that belong beside your plans but aren't part of them: a reminder to book the laptop cart, a note that a student needs extra time, a prompt about next week's assembly.
Notes are private. They stay yours even when your planbook is shared, embedded in a website, turned in to an administrator, or worked on with a collaborating teacher. Nobody else sees them.
Add a note
- In the weekly view, open the menu and choose Notes.
- Type your note.
- Save it for this week, or for all weeks.
This week attaches the note to the week you're looking at. All weeks keeps it visible in every week of the planbook — useful for a standing reminder like a duty rota or a recurring deadline.
Add as many notes as you like.
Edit and remove
Click a note to bring its text back into the editing box, change it, and save.
To remove one, hover over it until the red X appears, then click it.
Close and reopen
Close the notes window with the X. Nothing is lost — reopen it from the same Notes menu item whenever you want.
Notes attach to the week, not to a lesson box. For something belonging to one specific lesson that you also don't mind others seeing, put it in the plan itself; for anything genuinely private, use a note.
